yummy, or was that the powerful drinks? Nice upscale mexican, different but you can find old standby s if you insist. Die for (and die by) the Habenero sauce.

This was one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant. My mole enchiladas were very good, but my wife's steak was incredible. Details like rice, salsa and chips were very good too.

Frontera is a must - I have been to Chicago 4 times and have been to Frontera 4 times. My expectations went up every meal, and they were exceeded each visit. The drinks are as spactacular as the food; my favorite is the Mezcal Margarita. Get the special of the day - you wont be dissapointed.

Skip it - Sorry Mr. Bayless! Bottom Line - there are way better mexican restaurants in the area AND with better prices. We had to make reservations 2-3 weeks in advance to get a decent time to eat but unfortunately the the restaurant does not live up to the hype. Surprisingly, the food was just ok - from the ceviche, to the queso fundido, the pork tacos, chicken mole to dessert(chocolate ice cream cake and the mint ice cream sundae). We gave it

Really looked forward to Frontera Grill and were sadly disappointed. Margaritas were watered down, mole was nondescript and my flank steak was tough to cut and impossible to chew. The appetizers were fine and my friend loved her pork but the rest of the meal was sadly lacking. And it wasn't because Rick was out of town--he was seated two tables away from us after dinner. Of 4 dinners in Chicago, this was by far the worst. Really a bummer!
