Walking in and seeing the prices on the menu, I naively assumed that I would be served a quality meal. I ordered the Sea Scallops as an appetizer for $12. They were very large, but unfortunately were ruined by the heavy fried breading that overwhelmed the texture and flavor. Both the stuffed eggplant with crab and lobster and the blackened bass were disappointing. The fillet was pathetic in size, especially when you look at what you are paying.

The original Havertown menu was great and service could be as well. After a fairly horrible event with the staff at the second location, we've not returned.

Went tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Had the crawfish spring rolls (definite thumbs up), duck, and soft shell crab. Duck was to DIE for, while crab was just ok. I guess Tuesdays are quieter than whenever everyone else on here goes because there were no noise issues. Service was impeccable, increasingly hard to find these days. Will be making a return visit. Is still BYO for the summer.

I love this creole/cajun place. The food is consistently good and the new location is much better. My only gripe is that they are no longer a BYOB, which made a visit reasonable. To bad they didn't consider getting a license but keeping it BYOB as well. The best of both worlds...

The food did not come up to expectations, especially considering the hefty price tag. While the gumbo was very tasty, the jambalaya was dry and pasty. I hope authentic creole food is better that what I was served there.
