This is a fun place to go to, whether it's busy or quiet. Terrific consistent dishes at bargain prices. No attitudes amongst any of the waiters that I have ever encountered. The waiters care about you and try to ensure your being pleased. Worth a visit just to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. P.S., be careful of the yummy bread and bean spread; it's addictive!
A pleasant neighborhood establishment with reasonable prices and average food that is prepared without a great deal of imagination. This is not haute cuisine by a long stretch but, then, it doesn't really pretend to be. Wine by the glass is in the low to mid range of generally $7 per but the beer selection while not extensive is below average in price. In the end, a congenial establishment serving strictly pedestrian food.
Consistently good food and service. A welcoming bar which treats strangers like regulars. Watch for infrequent DJ dance parties Upstairs @ L2. Cool dance music. Parties are are a real urban mix. Straight as well as LGT friendly. If you have eaten there more than a few times you might wish that the menu changed more frequently.
My date and I went to L2 at 7pm on Thursday of this week. She wanted to try the place and it was her suggestion. The place was empty when we walked in-both dining rooms. The server (salt/pepper hair and mustache) was very annoyed with us not having a reservation when we asked him for a table.
