Hope that these good reviews don't take away the neighborhood atmosphere. This is a great place to hangout and match food to the wide variety of Belgian and other beers. More that fingerfood, the specials are usually worth trying. Lunch is often less crowded and parking on the street is easy to find.

Startlingly good food at high end foodie level the ambiance belies - seems like a graduate of hyde park CIA is lurking in the kitchen incognito... recently had amazing bread pudding, tiered gorgeous salad with nouvelle ingredients, delicious fried chicken, great brews; no prices on some menus. serve the same stuff at some chic bistro and triple the price. great variety - so not like bar food in a bar setting.

Great food and Great service. The place could use a little sprucing up. But excellent time!
