Inedible meat - tough and grizzly. Very disappointed

Portobello fries with Gorgonzola fondue is a MUST TRY. While a little greasy, still one of the most innovative apps we've had in a while. Portobellos are sliced thin, battered & fried and drizzled w/truffle oil and the fondue is fantastic. Escargot, salad & sides were just ok- all a little too greasy, overdressed or cheesy. Steak was HEAVEN. Bone-in ribeye was uniquely charred & smoky and cooked perfectly but not served hot-great service.

I have been to charley’s a few times the service and management have going downhill since my last visit a year ago. The steaks didn’t have the same flavor and tenderness that they usually have. I visit Charley’s when I get in town and then just before I leave with the steak quality and services off both of my visits. I feel I will not be returning to Charley’s on my next visit. I will be looking for another steakhouse.

The food was good and the service was friendly, if not a little hokey. The serving sizes, though, are ridiculous Who really needs that much food?
Stone crab was good, but can you really mess that up? Bleu cheese mashed potatoes were deliciously rich. Creme brulee was just okay, but the carrot cake was great. Two desserts were enough for all eight of us.

Cut above the rest, and just what you expect from a steakhouse. Cuts are big, butchery selection good, beef well aged. Wine selection good. Service energetic. Had a good time and will return when on the area on business again.
