Very good food, but very noisy. Wait staff operated in "teams" that were so busy trying to be our friend that there were many mixed signals and service errors; intruded on our dinner by asking how each plate of food was; served water even though we said we did not want it ($7.50 a bottle!); Old World decor does not match the too considerate wait staff. Would not go back.

For Orlando - this is high end. If you've traveled to any major northeast city - like Boston or DC - this is "average". And it doesn't come close to New York. But Orlando is so incredibly tacky in general that this does provide a nice meal for those who need some civilized culture. It's good - its expensive - and it's the only one in town.

Now for the contrarian view. This restaurant tries to be upscale but when you boil it down, it is really mediocre. Our experience? Our waiter, who had this stuffy "pay attention to me" attitude, opened our bottle of red wine with such a theatrical flourish, that he whipped wine all over the shirt of my colleague. The food was ok, nothing great, nothing terrible, but for these prices, you expect something you remember, not a dry cleaning bill.

Definitely a place to go, but be ready to wait a good long while even with a reservation

this an Old World Italian that can be very good. I have had one or two so so meals here - which makes the cost harder to take. Violin players, red sauce and the old world motif can make it fun.
