Several items on Norman's menu offer unique taste sensations, which were very enjoyable to us. Very professional service in a beautiful, if slightly stuffy (it's in the Ritz Carlton), setting. The outdoor seating was not available the evening we were there, but might be a nice option in good weather. Although pricey, the quality of the ingredients and preparation made the meal seem like good value. Looking forward to our next meal at Norman's.
I expected romantic but was disappointed. Some very good items on the menu but inconsistent. Service was spotty and I was disappointed that they allowed someone in with only a tee shirt on. The woman next to our table kept answering and talking on her cell phone without the staff asking her to step out.
Lovely decor. Creative Menu and fabulous rolls. Could have made a meal on those alone. Grouper was delicate and Yucca stuffed shrimp were delightful. Nice wine list. But service was very spotty and disappointing. Dishes given to the wrong person, request for a second bottle of wine forgotten and one desert was cold by the time it came to the table. I expected better from this restaurant!
I was staying in the hotel, however Normans was closed for a private part. Fun, fun, fun...
Surprised? No, stunned! We eat at a Zagat-rated restaurant every week regardless of where we are. This was the best of the best! Never before have I tasted such an amazing combination of flavors. The roasted pork was truly fantastic and was a great complement to the delectable crispy shrimp appetizer. We now have a new favorite restaurant, and it will certainly be on our dinner list whenever we return to Orlando.
