Besh Steak

I was disappointed when I ate here. Food was average, decor was OK, service was slow. I had heard a lot about this Besh Steakhouse, perhaps I was expecting too much. The food didn't have any zing, it fell flat. The casino comped my meal but I still wish I'd gone somewhere else.

One of the best steaks I have had. The staff was very attentive to everything. Some people would say pricey, but I would say that you pay for what you get. There are far less steaks in NYC that are twice as much. I live in Denver and we are known for our Steaks and am hoping John opens a steakhouse in Denver. Had some drinks then out to the casino then over to Bourbon street, Great time!

Overrated because of John Besh's name. But his steaks are nothing to brag about. However, you'll gasp at the prices. Go to Crescent City Steak House instead and get a treat to New Orleans steak houses like they used to be.

Had a good time here with food and service. Don't go back for I was told I could not have reservations for seven in the evening. Went earlier and observed a half empty restaurant at seven. Was told they do that for walk ins and high rollers. Stupid.
