Food is trump -- always good. If anything, a recent visit indicated that food is even better than ever, so perhaps that is due to the new chef. Service was also quite professional, better than I remember.

Imaginatively prepared food at surprisingly affordable prices save for the wine list where bottles under $40 are few and far between. Our server was helpful but never intrusive. The decor, however, struck me as a little harsh; softer lighting and warmer colors would help without diminishing the modernist scheme.

This is a great unpretentious restaurant with excellent service and food. Always consistent which is more than you can say for many other higher priced/trendy restaurants. Their wine selections are very reasonable as well.

Dinner here can be a bit crazy, given the pressures on the staff. This is true neighborhood Italian, but with well-crafted dishes and a lively atmosphyere. Things don't work so well all the time, but it's quite pleasant.
