Disappointing! Entree: Moule frites served with sand; frites obviously prefrozen and not defrosted by the frying. Merquez grille not tasty and the presentation seemed an afterthought. Our guest did not finish the merquez. Dessert: No improvement. the poire belle helene was a bowl of whipped cream covering minute quantities of pear and ice cream. Chardonnay indifferent at best. What a waste of a nice afternoon.

We stumbled upon the bistro for lunch, and found a carnivorous spot straight from Paris! The duck comfit was excellent! The foie gras with barley salad was delicious. The escargot had a perfect balance of garlic and butter.
The salad was refreshing.

A terrific spot for a relaxing weekend lunch. The place always seems crowded (a good sign), and the service is very good. The great thing about Bistrot du Coin is that they treat everyone like a regular, and the food and ambiance are just as good.

This is bistro food as you would hope it would be. A menu with a wide range of options, including all the classics (steak & fries, mussels with choice of sauce), a limited but decent wine selection, and an ambiance that's more vibrant and charming than it is trendy. It's the kind of neighborhood joint you want to make your regular spot.

Mussels as good as ever. Great country pate as good as you would find in France. Wonderful Leffe Blonde on tap. Service seems to have gotten better making Bistro du Coin, a tough to beat Bistro in any city, even Paris.
