just had a fabulous meal at bombay club.my wife had the tandoori shrimp- which were jumbo shrimp cooked in the tandoor oven. they were succulent. i had a chicken breast kebab that was marinated in white yogurt and spices before cooking. it was extremely tasty with a hint of spice. we shared a creamy and a little spicy roasted eggplant dish that was also excellent.

Last Friday my husband and I had dinner at Bombay Club. We were really impressed. The food was delicious. I had calamari and seafood mixture, which is clams, lobster, shrimp, scallops and fish. It was the best dinner that ever had/ the service was very good.

Wonderful atmosphere, loved the decor (simple and elegant), great food and attentive service. Try the Thali (a sampling of various dishes) which was fantastic. Great spot for a romantic dinner.

Best Indian food in DC, in elegant surroundings 2 blocks from the White House. Comfortable lounge if you just want a drink. Outdoor service in warm months. Thalis from $18-$24 are excellent values & the Sunday champagne brunch can't be beat. Vindaloo & green chili chicken are great for the real fire eaters. Service is thoughtful & professional. A favorite for many years that continues to shine.
