While the food was good, the service was quite poor. Amuse bouche treats were served to some tables but not to others. Despite the room being only 40% full on a Saturday evening, the chef came out to say hello to some guests but not others. The serving staff were few and they were out of the dining room much of the time.

My favorite restaurant in DC. Food is excellent as well as the wines (had the course with matching wine). It was quite crowded the evening we were there and I think the service suffered. Not as attentive as previous visit and food a little slow coming out. Maybe it's the curse of success.

I won't go back. My experience was fine. No major complaints but nothing th exclaim about. Equinox is well established and seems to be coasting. Soft shelled crab was good; potato-crusted halibut actually was NOT good - it was too fishy for halibut; more like fish-sticks. Nora is much better. I will go back there!

Awe-inspiring food and fine service; decor could be better but acceptable.

I think mature is the best word I can think of to describe the experience, which was before their recent update.
