I have a new favorite restaurant! Pasta Mia is AMAZING! I've tried just about every great Italian restaurant in DC/MD/VA but none have been as delicious or had portions half the size of Pasta Mia. Don't let the long lines keep you away because this pasta is WORTH THE WAIT! I've already been back 2 times in a week and loved everything they've served! With that said, please don't go because I want shorter lines for me and my friends. :-)

Food was spotty with some excellent and some so-so. Portions bordered on the ridiculous and should be shared, especially pasta dishes. Wait and service WERE ridiculous. A meal for 5 took almost 2.5 hours between waiting for a table and waiting for our food. If you have nothing to do, nowhere to go and just want to be stuffed, Pasta Mia is a good choice. Otherwsie, it is overrated and not worth the frustration.

I've become a food brat having visited friends in Italy a dozen times. I never thought i would find an italian spot that did pasta justice. Until i discovered Pastia Mia that is. It's not health food though, it's just authentic italian. The pasta tastes freshly made everytime. The service is pretty authentic too. If you're looking to be pampered, this is not the place for you.

Worth waiting in the line that is regularly goes out the door. Huge portions of everything leave you comatose
