I return at least once each year for many years now but was terribly disappointed this time. Other than delicious breads, the rack of lamb was fatty and too many dishes were gorgeous Salvador Dali works of art but tiny in size and taste. A huge waste of money, Will not be returning.

Do not order the Dover Sole or the Shrimp with Grits. Amusebouche dreadful. Hadn't been there in 5 years and won't go back. Even though I gave feedback to manager chef failed to appear. Made me wonder if the chef was even there.

the food is overpriced and underwhelming. I had MUCH higher expectations given its James Beard nomination. i will not go back.

Three of us went for restaurant week. Food was good, service was excellent. If you are not a risk taker in food experimenting, stay clear. The menu has many different entrees such as goat, pig tails, etc. It was good to be able to try the restaurant at reasonable prices.

Foodwise, Vidalia was excellent. The duck egg with sweetbreads, pork belly, and pecan pie were delicious. However, the service was substandard. We were rushed through the meal, and when the busboy knocked over a glass of wine (we had ordered a bottle), our server got down on the floor to estimate how much wine had been lost. He then brought us a glass only 1/3 full and said "we'll start you off with that." Luckily the food was worth the trouble.
