Eating off the fixed-price menu (we had five courses, as I recall) was a memorable, if highly expensive, experience. A beautiful place. Lovely for special occasions.
It's an opulent setting for good food with a staff practiced at serving a demanding crowd. All that said, it's just not that interesting.
The Sunday Brunch is phenomenal, oysters, lobster, crepes, pastries, cheeses, carvery need I go on, oh and not forgetting the free flowing champagne! Beautiful room in relaxing atmosphere, tables set with lovely china and silverware. We stayed for 2.5 hours and were treated like Royalty, the service is impeccable. A must for something unique for a special occasion.
You’ll never think about Sunday Brunch the same. Your week will become Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Willarday. Exquisitely prepared food in an equally exquisite dining room is accompanied by exquisite service and did we mention champagne goes well with EVERY item that is served – there is something divine for everyone. But please folks, dress up for heavens sake – nothing worse than sucking down champagne with sneakers on (big faux pas!).
This is the most beautiful room in town! I found chef Legret's cooking very well executed, and an impressive wine list by sommelier Caterina Abbruzzetti.
