Outstanding. Finally a young and very talented chef who is not pretentious. He prepares everything fresh with the finest and simplest ingredients and the best taste, and he does not show off. He just does it with dedication and professionalism . We need more like him in Baltimore !

We had a lovely meal. The room was full, but not too crowded. Our table was tiny, but filled with wonderful flavors and great presentations, produced by staff that was attentive but not intrusive. The oyster lives up to its reputation, skewered on a rosemary twig, sweet and moist. Main courses of trout with lentils had the right mix of herbs, not overpowering but drawing out the flavors of fish. I had the "vegetarian" entree with nicely firm tofu

Delectable and smart menu that reflects the season without being monotonous. The heat was out when I ate there last December, and, despite my shivering, the food and the service still managed to leave me warm and content. The location adds to the feeling that everyone's there for the love of food, as there's not a ton of street traffic for this particular restaurant. Although the neighborhood has a number of great places, few are as upscale.

What a delight! Had the seasonal prix fixe dinner, which was a bargain at $35. Soup, appetizer, entree and dessert were expertly prepared, although the soup was served a little too hot. The nice wine list and wonderful service complement the great food. I was visiting from NYC and was told to go here and was not disappointed.

Wonderful food--we are going back again and again. Modest surroundings but who cares when the food is so excellent
