We've eaten there a few times for lunch. You get complimentary fresh chips & salsa while waiting for your meal. Food is good. Service is pleasant. I make sure to eat on the right side (closest to the front door). The other side is near the kitchen, and the smell of spicy food is too overpowering for me.

Nothing bad, nothing great but if you are in the mood for cheap tex mex this is the place for you.

wasn't all that impressed. The service was slow and poor, and the food was average.

Located in Rockville Town Center, Austin Grill is a great place for just about any occasion from a easy place to for family to grab a bit to a nice spot for a intimate date. The food is without question authentic Tex-Mex. Their boldly spicy chilly with flavorful chunks of slow-cooked beef is an excellent example of their great food. It is about 30 dollars for party of two, so not bad for date night!

We enjoyed the festive Mexican decor and fast, attentive service during our Wednesday lunch. I had the skirt steak black bean burrito and it was acceptable--not overpoweringly large or buried in cheese. My date enjoyed her chicken quesadilla. We were guided to a new super-sized margarita which was refreshing, but not that unusual.
