Prix fixe lunch is a real bargain, with great eating at a very reasonable price, even if you don't earn in the six figures downtown.

Diverse menu for Thanksgiving with a view of the Capitol Building. Our party ranged from 7 to 41 years of age and all had a wonderful meal. Service was stellar and the steaks were perfect. Sat close enough to our neighbors to have an engaging conversation, but that was part of the charm. A must visit location.

I waited to be seated with open tables. My steak was not a good piece of Meat. I had to cut around a vein. There was a Patron vomiting in the bathroom from his meal. The Management seemed unprepared across the board. I will not be returning here. I think they are more concerned with selling cook books then preparing gourmet cuisine.

Excellent steaks, but still not worth the high price tags, particularly if you add the high prices for wine or other drinks. We enjoyed it, but wont be back soon.

Outstanding experience dining at CPS in Washington on May 1/09. First rate food; beautiful decor; and top-notch service. Though pricey, no more so than most higher-end steak houses, and this one really takes the steak housing dining experience to the next level......from the clubby, traditional approach to 21st century sophistication. Highly recommended.
