I love R&A with all my heart, and loathe it for its no-bookings policy, but it's always possible to bag a table - or rather, a stool - if you're willing to wait at peak times or simply avoid them. The plateau de fruits de mer is a gorgeous if rather pricey treat, the shrimp cocktail divine and huge. A good, reasonably priced wine list and buff, model-good-looking staff complete a winning formula.

It's worth perching on the uncomfortable stools for the great food and friendly service. Not sure about the banging techno at 2pm on a weekday though...

I feel happy here! You know the food will be fresh and delicious -so are the servers! Can be a bit too loud for an intimate conversation.

Loud, noisy vibey old fish shop, no reservation policy, but still queues around the block!! Go for the atmosphere, not necessarily the food... You'll have a blast!

Fantastic restaurant and great ambiance, terrific food and very well priced. Good service and well priced wine. Would recommend and have already on numerous occasions!
