Went on recommendation of taxi driver. Chicken liver pasta with truffle had no truffle flavor, though livers were good. Lamb dish tasted like almost nothing; lamb was underseasoned, reduction was thin, potato cake was dry, and aubergine "caviar" was watery and bland. Staff seemed nervous and afraid to approach the table. I refused dessert. Staff puts on a 13.5% discretionary gratuity; most places do 12.5. I should have gone to Timo twice instead.

food was the same we had in Locatelli.. same tortellini and same stock... no good for an Italian to go there. Very expansive and good service wine list for very rich people only...

I had exactley the same food as in Locatelli... nothing special... in both places I hade Tortellini ...the stock.. was dirty water..and the ortellini so small and few (7) you could not even feel the taste... The decor is very nice... at the end I prefer zafferano... but for the food dolada or semplice

Outstanding cuisine in a wonderfully comfortable setting. My meals there while traveling in Europe have always stood out as among the best. Enzo Cassini runs the restaurant with precision and sophistication that in my opinion, has made for consistent experiences year to year. His knowledge of Italian wines is as vast as the list itself. Friendly attentive service has been a hallmark of my visits.
