Chain food, pure and simple. You really want to get behind the cool interior, and neat architecture, but when the food comes, it's just so-so. You try to like it, but you just can't. Let the non-foodies go-- foodies stay away and support a place with real food. Sorry.

My wife and I make it to Maggiano's at least once a year and always have a great time. The location is great to walk 16h Street, before or after Dinner. The food is very good, not great, but still one of the best Italian places in Denver. The staff is the best, they are what make this place worth going back to. I love the Happy Hour when you can get a taste of everything.

Food is passable, but is definitely chain restaurant quality.

MY wife and I had a wonderful experience at Maggiano's last week. Even though, the rest. was very crowded(Friday at 5pm), we were seated right away. Go for the stuffed mushrooms and the Herb Roast Chicken-you'll be happy you did. Don't forget dessert. Our favorite is Nonna's Pound Cake, althought the dessert menu has other wonderful choices.
Tip: Go for lunch to avoid long dinner waits and crowds.
FYI: Not a "typical chain rest" by any means.

The service was friendly even in the bar and the serving portion on the pasta was very big. But, the veal parm wasn't real. Very disappointing. Consider this a "safe" Italian restaurant when you can not find a true Italian place to eat.
