This old corner red brick restaurant is one of the best seafood places in LoDo. The old rustic seafaring decor with whimsical art work on the brick walls is charming. The staff is alert and on the ball. The menu is limited but the fresh oysters are outstanding. The food always exceeds our expectations and the staff is friendly and warm. A great place to eat and have some fun. Can get very busy at times, but that is a good thing to see.

Quality...not quantity...is what Jax is all about. Rate it as our top local hood bar and bistro...the fish is great, but so are the faces...you just never know who you might meet!

This is the best Happy Hour in town. From 4-6p every day (7 days a week) they have 75 cent freshly shucked oysters among other delicious items on their happy hour menu. Try the Manchego/Truffle fries and the tuna chimichanga. In addition, the regular dinner menu items are quite good.
