What an awesome meal! A romantic setting, outstanding food and fabulous service make this place a very well kept secret in Boulder. Food was better than other highly rated places such as the Kitchen. We shall be returning to John's soon!

I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed by the food and wine list. The service was also exceptional. You don't expect much from the humble appearance of this small cottage house, but upon sitting down in front of the menu you quickly realize these guys have it together. They use local, organic seasonal ingredients and the food is prepared in a very balanced, well structured manner where the flavors integrate together perfectly.

Excellent food, one the top 3 restaurants in Boulder. Limited, but well chosen wine list. Corey Buck the new chef owner is refined the menu and it is even better, his sister Ashley runs the front very efficentkly

My first (and last) meal at John's in February was a total disappointment. Tough meat, cold dishes and overall no way worth the money. I will not be going back.

Ever since John sold this place, the service and food have gone downhill. There was a time when this was THE place in Boulder. Now I'd rather go to the Kitchen or Frasca.
