Living for the moment on the east coast, we were pleased to find a Southwestern restaurant within walking distance of my hotel and we were not disappointed. The dishes were creative and varied and all contained an appropriate amount of heat. The service was Boulder friendly attending to a lively crowd.
Creative combinations executed well - pepper-encrusted seared tuna with beans and bacon crumbles is an interesting combination of tastes and textures, as is the pan-roasted duck breast with crispy duck confit, kale and beans. All in all a satisfying meal and I would be happy to eat there again.
The food is really variable. We've had a couple of dishes that were very good but most have been mediocre (and one was just plain awful). The service is variable as well. The outside seating is nice except for the location just off a main road.
Great restaurant in Boulder! Get there for happy hour to enjoy the chips, salsa and homemade guacamole. The fish tacos were delicious. The service has always been great. The bartender made the best margarita I've ever had...exactly to my specifications.
Best restaurant in Boulder. Nearly everything is made on the premises from scratch which just makes such a difference. Margaritas are the best in town, duck tacos are simply amazing and the happy hour can't be beat. Everything on the menu is extremely delicious, you really can't go wrong.
