We had a little trouble selecting wine due to it was not in stock, but once we substituted per waiter's recommendation we were very happy. Steak was Excellent and done as ordered. Side dishes were very tasty - my favorite Creamed Spinach. Also, for starter try oysters - it was excellent and very fresh.

Old and boring. First the valet was missing in action. Then after much hype about the crab cakes...they were out. Then the little things like paying the $4 membership fee because of the private club status. Do yourself a favor and walk 1/2 block west to a good steakhouse.

Spencer's Salt Lake I have never enjoyed food quite so much. The crusty onion soup was flavored as it should have been. The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp and lively. Sauted green and yellow zucchini with red onion complimented a perfectly grilled—to perfection I might add—Salmon. Champaign was flowing, the staff was buzzing and the ambience was a delicacy in all of itself. Spencer’s—and my compliments to the chef—should wear their stars proudly,

Our favorite SLC restaurant. Elegant but never stuffy. Great steaks but the lobster is just as good.
