We had a great dinner here last week. The food was very fresh and creative. The pre set menu is terrific because I had things I would not have had otherwise, like mackerel. They do ask you if there are things you don't eat so that you do have some say in what you eat. The service was good, but seemed a bit rehearsed or mechanical in a way.
the setting is great. a must-see. the food was absolutely ok. very nice and fresh products (a lot of them actually grown in the greenhouse) and very proper preparation. if you go for lunch, it's a perfect choice.
This is one of Amsterdam's best. Food is well-prepared and from the right organic ingredients. On a spectacular spring day, we pedaled our rented Dutch bikes to the park just outside the central area -- a fifteen minute trip -- to a delightful greenhouse setting, beautifully and simply decorated. We had a warm greeting and terrific, enthusiastic but not fawning service. The food was wonderful.
