Excellent food, excellent service. Very expensive, but once a lifetime you should try it, if you can afford it. The wine prices are much to high.

Let me begin by saying the restaurant is lovely, the staff attentive and the food pleasing to the palatte. But for those of us who don't like spending $120 on a bowl of soup, having 5 people breathing down our necks or dining in a Louis XIV room, it is truly a bit much. The prices cannot be justified--reputation being used to abuse the patrons financially. The food is good, not great and the service should be subtle, but it is distracting.

This is the most expensive restaurant in Florence. The tasting menu is excellent. The decor was not my taste but is not bad. The service was "ok". If you admire great good, this is definitely a resturant you need to visit but if you want the overall "experience", then maybe you should look elsewhere.

Three adults and one child dined at what we thought might be a once in a lifetime experience. We hope to return! The wines were indeed the high point, although the food was not far behind. Service was excellent and friendly.
