It is rare to find a restaurant offeringly equally excellent food and service. Located under the Writer's Museum this restaurant operating since 1991 has had a major refurbishment. Chef Ross Lewis has been a favourite in Dublin and is getting better and better. Front of house Martin Corbett is mr Hospitality. One of the best dining experiences in Dublin

Nice reception on arrival. Pleasant basement site. Lunch fixed menu had reasonable choice and good value for type of establishment. Food very good without being exceptional (afterall was only lunch!). Good, knowledgeable service. Older, well-healed clientel. Subdued but not stuffy athmosphere. Probably best in Dublin now--only real competitor is Guilbaud's which is much stuffier, smaller portions and much more expensive. Will return.

This has nothing to do with Chapter 1. I am simply having a problem cancelling my membership with Zagat and they refuse 2 acknowledge my emails. I am cancelling because it's not a good site. To date I have sent them 5 emails without success. Whilst they allow you to sign up electronically, to cancel you have ring a US number & I don;t know how long you get held on the line. Well I'm not falling for it. Anyone else have similar problems??
