Very, very expensive and sometimes a bit rushed. But overall, Massimo's still got it.

Extremly expensive and very over rated Waiters rush ordering your food, eating your food The chef spends more time socializing than working iand helping in the kitchen If you are a tourist first timer going to this restaurant or not a celebrity you get a cheap Rose as an apperitif If you are famous/regular customer you get a glass of champagne

This is one truly memorable restaurant which has gotten absolutely everything right. The opening course of crudo consisted of no less than 15 variations of the freshest and most subtle fish and shellfish, rivaling the finest Omakase. Excellent from start to finish. I definitely recommend the seafood platter antipasti-it's amazing. The desserts were excellent as well. The Jasmine tea was the best I have ever had. Definitely a "must" if you love seafood.

High-end seafood, a lively crowd, a staff that is friendly but not overly attentive. I enjoyed everything I had, including the free glass of champagne to start. Of the three amuses, my favorite was turbot in a small cup submerged in a pesto thick vegetable reduction with a strong herbal flavor.
