People smoke in Italy and we were the lucky winners of neighbors who did...and even though it's outside, it's intrusive. Portions are huge so best to share a few different things. No Americans in Italy this Summer (dollar/euro stinks) and dinner was about $140/person which is a bargain. That said, we met 2 couples from Palm Beach.
The food was sublime. The pizza tasted so fresh and vibrant our eyes popped open-the best we have ever had, the pasta was perfect, the bruschetta delicious.. Portions are generous. The setting is charming. For dessert we had an fantastic plate of homemade sorbets, each in the frozen shell of the fruit from which it was made. The lemoncello ending was a good punctuation. The only downer was the 5Euro pp cover charge. Highly recommended.
Excellent restaurant, we had our first meal in Venice here sat in the sun in the square with delicious bruschetta to start followed by mouth-watering pasta. It was so good that we had to return here for our last evening meal The maitre d' could not have been more helpful.
Highly recommended. The pizza is delicious and the ingredients (fresh buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto) are wonderful. It is almost surreal to sit out on the piazza and have dinner. They even brought complimentary lemoncello after dinner.
