We took visitors to the clubhouse veranda last Saturday morning. Had to settle for lunch as brunch stops at 11. Steak sandwich was bad; BLTs, gumbo, crawfish wrap edible. Onion rings were decent but greasy. Fries are frozen. The wait staff tries hard but doesn't seem well trained. We were charged $28 for three double cappucinos and one double espresso. When we questioned the charge the manager's response was "this isn't Starbuck's".

Nice view of the park while you're eating. It's a fun place to eat no matter what the weather is.

It is incredibly unfortunate that a restaurant with one of the most beautiful scenic views in the city serves such horrible food.

Convenient uptown cafe located in Audubon Park. Good hamburgers and onion rings. Very informal.

Don't go for the food - go for the view. When the weather is cool enough- eat on the porch over looking the beautful Audubon park. Great place to take the family and relax. Food is more like instutional!
