Food is good but presentation needs improving. Service is sloppy (water thrown into the glass, specifically asked for chocolate tart twice and was served chocolate souffle instead) but the view (if you are not sitting in the alcoves) is stunning, albeit at night the lights in the room are so dimmed that you need to use the candles on the table to be able to read your menu. Overall worth going for the view, not for the food.

The food is good, but not as good as one would expect in a place like this.

The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. In spite of the fact I had made a reservation weeks in advance and had been to the restaurant before, we were told we couldn't get a better table because "they had reservations and many hotel guests". The wagyu beef, which I had loved a prior visit was tepid and tasteless. The pana cota had no flavor. The bill for 2 people was about $230 for a totally mediocre experience.

great location at Columbus Circle with a great view over Central park. We ate here during restaurant week, good choices. The food is Excellent, tasteful and surprising.

Great view, complimented by great food. And the service was outstanding. Its a place you should save for special occasions.
