Aggressively average. The location in DC was really quite good, and I was hoping for something similar but the food was bland and not served hot. In addition I had gone on line to check their menu, being a vegetarian, and the menu was out of date and the vegetarian items mostly removed.
It is what it is, but it's consistently very good if what you want is cheap tex mex. I asked for, and got real avocado slices and as long as you want beer you'll be fine.
We've eaten there a few times for lunch. You get complimentary fresh chips & salsa while waiting for your meal. Food is good. Service is pleasant. I make sure to eat on the right side (closest to the front door). The other side is near the kitchen, and the smell of spicy food is too overpowering for me.
Nothing bad, nothing great but if you are in the mood for cheap tex mex this is the place for you.
wasn't all that impressed. The service was slow and poor, and the food was average.
