We drove around for ages looking for parking - they need to offer valet. At first we sat outside, but the smell of the gutter sent us racing back indoors. The couch that served as my chair made me itch. But I do remember that I really liked the homemade butter, but not enough to endure this experience again.

Birche's is not just a corner bar - it is more of a fine dining restaurant that happens to have a super friendly bar atmosphere. The staff are very nice and are always happy to chat. They really seem to take a lot of pride in their work. It is the kind of place where it is easy to become a regular - they always remember your favorite dishes and / or drinks. The crab ala vodka is superb.

Birch’s was one of the absolute worst dining experiences in my life! The cobbler was burnt, main dishes were over-cooked, we were told they were "out of chicken" which eliminated more than half of the menu. Whats more, service was rude and slow. I recently read that Birches is For Sale. It's obvious they have already thrown in the towel.� Birches will not be missed!

Better than your average corner bar. Great cheesesteak panini and fries complimented by a great beer selection. Subdued and homely like an old rec room.

This place has great food but you have to be patient to get it. The service is so slow, you have to have some time to sit and talk with friends when you come to this restaurant. We sat outside fortunately it was a nice day.
