I've been eating there since I was a tot. GREAT pizza, nice thin crust with fresh tomato sauce and cheese, always a plus when my dad brings some home unexpected! Yes it is just a local pizza joint so please don't mind the service. and it is in an "okay" area, but not in the worst part of Mt. Vernon, so its not so sketchy.
I recommend Johnny's 100%

Best Pizza in Westchester. Is it better than Pepe's in New Haven? No, but who wants to drive to New Haven. Pizza is cracker thin to the point where you can almost eat a whole pie yourself. Service is cold but OK. They are cheap with ice, napkins and salad dressing. Ask for more and you might get it. No one there knows the expression "service with smile." Everyone is cranky. The heavy set owner screams at his wife and staff in front of everyone

The best thin crust pizza, the rest of the menu is not worth mentioning. The service is ok until they bring the food , then they forget about you.
