We had to share a small, echoing room with a large, boisterous party. Other than that, we liked Walzwerk very much.

This is a small venue, so can be hard to get into without a reservation. If you thought that Eastern Germany did not develop their own style of cuisine: think again. The Germany food is yummy and plentiful. Fantastic beer selection.

Good German food with an East German theme. The schnitel was very tasty. The decor is spaten but I think it is designed to be.

East meets best. Best East Berlin dishes, where the walls have come down to reveal interesting, comforting cuisine. Plenty of street parking, so no air lift required.
