A fairly consistent place to get very good pizzas and salads. The spinach-artichoke dip is quite tasty, too. The food and the floor-to-ceiling windowed dining area adds up to an above average dining experience.

Pizza was chewy and tough. Enough salt to put you in a hypertensive coma. We were offered another selection, but chose to leave instead of being subjected to more substandard food. Very disappointing.

Austin is a hub of Frisbee golf and on many occasion I've had the chance to play a few rounds. California Pizza kitchen allows me to imagine what that golf experience would be like had we eaten the Frisbee instead of playing through with it. The pizza I ordered was something with a schezwan sauce topped with chicken, or at least that's what the menu said. What arrived was something resembling A1, topped with bits of mystery meat shellacked white.

Bright clean restaurant with consistently fresh good food. Not to be missed salads. Great variety of pizzas including thin crust, and whole wheat pizzas.
