A dreadful, but attractive, place that gets high Zagat scores for some reason. Last time -- LAST time -- I had dried-out, overcooked roast pork that I couldn't eat (and the waitress didn't ask why). I hope they took a good look at me before I went out the door.

Excellent food in downtown Ojai. Small garden in the back. Friendly, knowledgeable servers.

The food here is really good, always new and fresh menu items. Suzanne has her own garden where she grows a lot of things they prepare. The drinks are good and they have a nice local wine list. Sit in the herb garden, any time of year, it is very peaceful.

This converted house with patio is a special spot for many. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is especially nice on a warm summer evening. The restaurant uses local produce in many of its dishes.
