It was such an experience but for me the total meal combined was too rich for a Sushi Meal. I felt in compensating for the high cost of the meal, the chef wants to make sure you got your money's worth so he delivers with a rich toro, rich fois gras, rich wagyu beef and so on and so on. Basically, each piece was marvelous, all of it combined was a bit too rich. It should be balanced a bit with some veggies or something.

I was taken as a guest to Urasawa recently, and was grateful to have been "taken", as there is no way I would personally pay such prices for such an experience. But it was the most amazing food experience of my life! I thought the "Tinned Tuna" was quite imaginative with subtle flavor and I liked the taste and texture of the refresher course with passion fruit, sheep's milk yoghurt? A truly magnificent treat.
