Food was OK not great …particularly for the price. Portions tiny; requirement that everyone at the table have the same number of courses was unappealing; not discussing what you were actually going to be served until it arrived at the table diminished the eating experience…nothing to look forward to. Service was pretty good…..especially the coordinated unveiling of each plate...how precious!! Blue Hill in NYC much better.

The food was sublime, though we had been told that the Sunday brunch was $68 and were charged $85. The service was fussy--the hor d'ouerves rushed out and we counted 12 times that crumbs were brushed off our table. The decor could not be less imaginative, with ugly lights for sconces and glasses piled on tables in the dining room. The sommelier was unhelpful, but steered us to more expensive wines when we had given him a range. Never again!

As many have said, the space and the service are both wonderful. The food borders on ridiculous. Of the 5 courses, 3 were undercooked and barely edible. The real hilarity came when the server came to the table between courses with a basket of eggs that their hens had produced that very morning, announcing that these incredible eggs would in fact be our next course. *wow* Spare us the histrionics and just serve decent portions of tastey food.

Rather disappointing, especially at this price. The service was excellent. But the food, despite the nice presentation, was not special at all. The flavors were bland and the portions were quite small. If not for the tasty & ample bread, we would have left hungry. Surprised that a restaurant which prides itself on having fresh ingredients grown right on the property serves such small portions of veggies, and no starches (potato, rice, etc.).

The food is creative and delicous. We love the little "surprise" that comes out with each course. An opportunity to try new foods that are are shown in their best light!! Service is a little snooty and we just tried to make a reservation for 10 & were told they could not accomadate us. We were told to reserve a private room-which is fully booked. The main dining room will seat 8 and no more & they wouldn't book 2 tables next to each other!!
