We liked this restaurant so well, we came back for seconds! The menu is imaginative and changes day by day and the dishes looked so good we had trouble choosing. Appetizers were delicious. And the wine on special was quite good and reasonably priced. The ambiance is not very special, but the food more than made up for that. We will be back next time we are in DC.
Overated!! The ambiance is gyro shack with the lights turned down. They try to be upscale but they are NOT pulling it off. The presentation of the food is laughable - think asparagus sunbursts. Both my wife's and my food were mediocre at best. Expensive and not worth it.
The food was excellent. the restaurant is small, but comfortable. I wasn't crazy about the noise level however. We had the octopus and sea urchin appetizer-very good. We also tried the rabbit and duck and loved it. I would recommend the restaurant if you're looking for high quality, authentic greek food.
Perfect for a rainy Sunday night. An unpretentious setting, friendly service, meticulous preparation. Swordfish never tasted so good.
Food varies in quality but twice I have had what I can only describe as the best meal I have had in Washington. A truly remarkable hearty soup of goat and rice. I ordered it and my wife and her friends ate it out from under me! Service always cheerful and an excellent choice of wines.
