Bread appeared to be recycled, or warmed over twice, at dinner compared to a relative freshness at lunch. The pork loin seems to be pre-prepared to the extent of being pre-sliced. Deliver of the food was incredibly slow with no explanation from the service staff. There was little understanding of the wine list, which was passable. The waitress was considerate of delivering only one salad and suggested coordinated delivery of a side order.
The Raphael is about as romantic as it gets for me. The food is delicious and underrated in my book. It is classic food preparation in an elegant environment. Although, my husband and I(28 and 33) were by far the youngest people in the restaurant!
