Arguably the very best BBQ in KC,(but I won't argue with that). They will be moving from the parking lot office building that now houses the whole restaurant to a nicer location about a mile west. They will remain smoke-free, I was told. Don't miss their "Old Smokey" sandwich, aka burnt ends.

Jake Edwards would have never let the city use Eminent Domain, maybe Danny should have learned a little from the old man than just good BBQ.

The best little BBQ joint in KC! 'Lil Jake's" as the local call it is a very small place in the middle of downtown. The service is fast and the seating it tight so come early and sit down and rub elbows with lawyers and construction workers and as they say "eat it and beat it"
