Pretty good standard mixed menu. Apps are better than entrees. Pastas are mediocre.

The OWNER shrugged when my companion had a staple in his soup. Greasy food served cold.

Promising start has fallen way short. Food is inconsistently prepared. Recipes are constantly changing. At one time, they served one of the best bowls of traditional New England Clam Chowder in the OC. Ate there the other night, ordered what was called New England Clam Chowder, got what was creamy garlic soup with little pieces of clam-colored shoe leather. Pathetic.

Owner is rude. This is after the staff sat us at a nice table in the empty back room but after we ordered a party of 25 showed up. I asked why they would seat us in the back room if they new it was going to be used for a large party. After admitting they made a mistake, the owner said that if we wanted a nice, intimate meal.. "why would you bring your two year old". Our son is not perfect but was and is very well behaved.

The service was very good and friendly but the food was NOT good at all. Their fish was better but the rest (Stack, Hamburger and BBG tri tip) was vast of money. Overall, I would not suggest this restaurant since the food does not match the price and if you have to go there with seafood you'll have better luck.
