Very disappointing. I guess I do not like Eastern Carolina BBQ. The portions were small. The beans were not much different than out of the can. The stew, BBQ, and hush puppies were just ok. Food was served on the paper plates with dividers. The food did not stick up above the dividers. I am used to much larger portions at a BBQ. For all the reviews I would have expected a much better BBQ.

This is the best place in Charlotte for Eastern style barbecue, and it's family owned. What more could you ask for?

The BBQ is good, but it's expensive for what you get. Do not expect a cheap lunch here.
