Went with a group of 12 on a SAT night. service was ok and the atmosphere was fun, but 5 of the 12 sent back their food for poor quality. Be on the look out for their bait and switch with wines. You order a bottle then they come back with a different one which is conveniently more expensive then what you had choose and they do not let you know up front. I would not go back for anything other then drinks in the hoppin bar after dinner hours.

Ballantyne location - Try eating on the patio, very good food and attentive service. The lunch buffet is oustanding. Wish the would make it smoke-free. We would go more often except for the smoking.

If you are of a certain age, no doubt you will remember the restaurant that served a crock of cheddar cheese and basket of assorted crackers with your iceberg lettuce salad. Villa Antonio keeps that tradition going, and serves the type of Italian food that will remind you of Chef Boy-Ar-Di. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is also reminiscent of a bygone era. Go for the trip down memory lane, if not for the food.

While the decor is very romantic and the service very attentive the food is somewhat lacking for the price of the restuarant. It is not necessary to pay $20-25 for pasta dishes that are average.
