If this is the same place that I'm thinking of on the next block over from Dosa (there are two S. Indian restaurants on that block, which is why I'm not 100% certain), it is authentic and excellent. In fact, it blows Dosa out of the water, but most reviewers in SF don't understand what real S. Indian food is the way that New Yorkers might (who have much more exposure.) Dosa, though tasty, is cr*ppy fusion food. Get a taste of the REAL!
