Umu serves exquisite, delicately prepared sushi, but the traditional Kaiseke menu was a bit less than stellar, and the prices far exceed the quality. a piece of aubergine sushi for six puonds an Asahi beer and a bowl of rice for twelve pounds? Come on.

I was taken here for my birthday and was thoroughly impressed. The food was scrumptious, better than Nobu, Sumosan and Zuma in my opinion and the ambience was more intimate. It's pricey but ideal for special occasions.

Amazing food, amazing decor and great service. Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a free lunch so the bill was anything but amamzing.
