Casual yet upscale, extremely comfortable restaurant that's part of the Brennan dynasty. Contemporary with unexpected ingredients which result in delicious dishes. It's great for a variety of special occasions but don't feel like you have to wait for one.

Ms. Adelaide's biscuits must be the reason the Brennan family got in the business, because they were too die for in their classic version of Egg's Benedict smothered in a velvety hollandaise! Now that will cure your NOLA hang-over blues. Lunch was great too...hanger steak, shrimp/grits...yummee! Can't go wrong with "The Restaurant Family" of NOLA...eat up!

This was a good experience. The food was not exemplary, but very nice and the service was perfect. Both the maitre'd and the server were very congenial and attentive without overdoing it. The room is nice and calm and not overstuffedwith too many tables, though not especially stylish as if it were a destination restaurant. Too bad the patrons couldn't be a bit less casual for dinner. It deserves better than polo shirts, shorts and flipflops.

Don't let the decor fool you--casual dress is ok. The breakfasts, while not cheap are excellent. I recommend ordering off the menu rather than the buffet. Be sure to order beignets to accompany your meal---they're delicious! Service is prompt and friendly.

The food and service were awful. The decor looks like a cruise ship decor from 1992. Decent bar.
