Price is moderate here. Atmosphere is romantic, quiet but relaxing, until you get the mariachi that plays on weekends, but songs by request is encouraged. Salad bar is small but hosts some delicious selections, such as anise root thats been grilled as well as eggplant. This place has an upstairs and it's a great place for group gatherings. Wonderful and friendly host and waiters. I recommend the Rodizio, amazing cuts of meat cooked to perfection!

If you are a carnivore, this is heaven. Vegetarians will go into shock at the never ending array of different kinds of meat. Regular menu items okay but you an get better in other Ironbound restaurants.

Good radizio and good sangria. The rest of the menu is hit and miss. Fun with a bigger crowd of meat eaters. But one thing - Less salt please!!!!

Now i prefer Brasilian BBQ versus Portugese so i wanted to check this place out its in the zagat for good food. I made reservations for 4 and we got in right away. If u didnt have reservations there was 1hr1/2 wait! Sangria was excellent. Food was OK. Service was horrible. I had to ask the busser to bring us our drinks 2 times! If u want GREAT brasilian food go to Brasilia on Adam st. or for amazing Portugese go to Seabras on Jackson st in Newark

Great food, wonderful service and worth visiting. Go a few times and the owner will know you by name.
